The NDSU Gold Star Marching Band, the Pride of North Dakota, has a long and proud tradition of supporting NDSU Athletics, and is the premiere marching band in the upper Midwest. Today, we celebrate March Fourth (get it?), in a day of celebrating the marching arts around the world. Help us achieve our aspirations to improve the band you know and love. Generosity from March 4th will go directly towards maintaining and improving the equipment of the Gold Star Marching Band.
The Gold Star Marching Band is one of the largest student organizations on campus. The members consist of nearly every major NDSU has to offer. The GSMB members work tirelessly to provide entertainment and spirit to NDSU functions. You can hear the GSMB at all home football games, basketball games, volleyball games, and many other events around campus throughout the year.
Our mission is to provide entertainment to our community, provide a rich experience for our student-members, and to support the region’s marching activities. We view ourselves as an example for all of the regions band programs, and strive to be at the cutting edge of the marching arts. Your support will help us realize these goals.
